    President & CEO

    Sumit is a seasoned executive with a proven track-record of establishing market leadership positions. Sumit has led multiple $1B+ enterprise software and SaaS businesses with responsibilities in managing P&L and all functions of the business from R&D to sales. With expertise in creating new market categories; Sumit brings a proven leadership approach that results in top-performing teams.

    Prior to joining Instart Logic, Sumit served as the general manager of the end-user computing business at VMware. Prior to VMware, Sumit served at Citrix, where he held a number of executive roles – across engineering, product development, marketing, corporate development, and general management – and was a key contributor to Citrix’s growth from a private company to the publicly-traded, multinational business that it is today.

    Sumit holds an MBA from the University of Florida – Warrington College of Business, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology.

    Hariharan Kolam

    CTO and Founder

    Hariharan is a co-founder and CTO of Instart and is responsible for focusing on long-term innovation and competitiveness. Previously, Hariharan was with Aster Data where he worked on all features across the entire development stack, ranging from the kernel to the BI application layer (distributed workload management, backup and data re-partitioning services). Prior to Aster, he was part of the Solaris Cluster group at Sun, where he contributed critical modules of software responsible for high availability on Solaris zones. Hariharan has a MS in Computer Science from Stony Brook and a BS in Computer Science from NIT Nagpur, India.

    Seema Desai

    VP of Talent and HR

    Seema is a seasoned human resources executive with over 20 years or HR and talent management experience. Seema has extensive experience across industries including ecommerce, healthcare, ocean robotics, data virtualization, and identity management. For the past twelve years, Seema has built world-class talent functions for venture-backed companies. Before joining Instart, Seema was at data virtualization startup Delphix, backed by Greylock Partners and Lightspeed Ventures. Seema holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University, and a BS in Psychology and a BA in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.

    In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Jony Hartono leads multiple functions including financial management, accounting, legal and human resources, and office operations. He provides operating and guidance around performance measurement and is part of the senior team leading the company in rapid growth in the digital experience market. Prior to Instart, Hartono served as CFO at Capriza; VP of Finance at MobileIron -- where he was instrumental in their successful initial public offering (IPO), and previously as VP of Finance and Corporate Development at SGI and Rackable Systems. He has also served as an advisor at multiple start-ups. Hartono holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

    Natalie Lambert

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Natalie Lambert has 15 years of enterprise technology marketing experience. Her career began at Forrester Research where she was the leading expert on end user computing. In that role, she advised clients on technology investments and best practices surrounding the enterprise computing environment. 

     

    Most recently, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at Sapho, an enterprise software company that was acquired by Citrix. Prior to Sapho, Natalie spent seven years at Citrix where she held multiple product marketing leadership positions, including having responsibility for the company’s multi-product solutions, thought leadership efforts, and positioning of Citrix as a leader in digital workplace technologies. 

     

    Natalie has been widely quoted in the press, including outlets such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and has written for Wired, Forbes and CIO.com.

    Mitch Parker is a technology veteran and entrepreneur with experience architecting and building new businesses, processes, and products. Mitch held a broad range of leadership roles at Citrix over 15 years, including leading Product Groups and Technical Services. He led the team that architected and launched Citrix Cloud. As head of Citrix Services, he more than doubled revenue and introduced several core services helping customers and partners reap value from their Citrix products.

    Mitch has also held roles in channel programs, sales operations, field readiness and consulting services. Prior to Citrix, Mitch was a consultant with Innovex Group and Accenture. Mitch is an avid app developer, college football fan, and family man. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

    Tom Flink has over 30 years of technology sales, channels, marketing and professional services management.  His career began as a hardware OEM and systems integrator during the rise of the reseller channel where he successfully managed the transition from pure product resell to value-added professional/managed services.  During this time, he was involved in the evolution of IT and how we engage with the modern technologies of today including infrastructure, applications, web services, mobile and tele-communications. 

    Tom’s broad base of experience in the industry has led him to play key roles in strategy, programs, and go-to-market development.  This includes execution across global markets and direct experience working in Europe.

    Thirumalesh is a technology veteran with experience in innovating, building, operating cloud services and products at scale and is involved as an advisor and mentor to multiple start-ups as part of the Alchemist Accelerator.

    Prior joining Instart, Thirumalesh was VP of Software Engineering at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure responsible for delivering and operating several software-defined networking services. He grew the customer base multi-fold. Prior to Oracle, he held several leadership roles at VMware Inc.

    Thirumalesh holds a BS in Computer Science from Bangalore University, India.

    Justin is responsible for expanding the company’s world-class endpoint-aware application delivery infrastructure and ensuring impeccable reliability and scale. He brings over 17 years of experience to Instart, most recently as CIO and Vice President of Technical Operations at Jive. Prior to Jive, Justin ran Engineering Operations at Mozilla for over 5 years where his team scaled the infrastructure from 2 racks to 7 global data centers serving over 25% of the internet and 500 million users. In addition Justin bootstrapped the business intelligence group while also managing the web development, support, infrastructure security, operations and architecture groups, growing the team to over 90. Previously he has worked at Cisco, Macromedia, Currenex and holds a degree in CS from University of the Pacific.

    Girish Vaitheeswaran

    Girish is a seasoned technology leader with over 18 years of professional experience designing complex software systems in Application Delivery, Web Performance, Privacy, Web Search, Cloud Computing, Big data and Transaction Processing Systems.

    Prior to joining Instart, Girish was a Principal Development Manager at Microsoft where he led the data platform organization integrating the Facebook social graph and Twitter datasets into Bing. He also and worked on Core Bing Index Serving and the Advertising indexing systems.  His broad range of experience includes previous stints at Yahoo! where he lead the web search runtime engineering team as Senior Engineering Manager and SAP (Sybase) as a Staff Engineer working on the core database engine.

    Girish holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas and a BE in Instrumentation Technology from Bangalore University.

    Peter is responsible for product management at Instart. Previously, Peter was with Citrix, where he was senior director of product management and marketing for the XenClient product. Earlier, at XenSource, he held a variety of product management and technical sales roles focusing on the XenServer virtualization platform. Citrix acquired XenSource for $500M. Prior to XenSource, he held a variety of pre-sales, web development and IT admin roles, including five years at Marimba working with enterprise change management systems. Peter has a BA in Political Science with a minor in Computer Science from UCSD.

    Samrah is responsible for all Business Development and Partnership functions at Instart. Prior to Instart, Samrah was with MuleSoft, where she was responsible for Strategic Global Partnerships that focused on driving channel revenue via sales and services. Earlier at MuleSoft, she also focused on alliances for go to market of joint MuleSoft cloud solutions with ISV’s. Before MuleSoft, she spent 7 years at TeleNav that went public in 2010. At TeleNav she held variety of client facing roles ranging from technical sales to business development that focused on large Telcos and OEMs in the mobile space. Samrah has a BS in Computer Science from Santa Clara University.

    Andrew Bartlam is a 20+ year industry veteran having occupied Senior Management, Sales and Strategic Alliances roles at organizations including CipherCloud, Jive Software, Omniture (now Adobe Systems), Vignette Inc, Remedy Corporation and the Industry Analyst Gartner Inc. In his spare time he is an advisor to several high-tech startups. He has lived and/or worked on four continents and has conducted business throughout the US, APAC and EMEA. Andrew graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a Degree in Politics & International Relations.

    As Vice President of Sales - Americas, Keith Milano leads the company's sales operations in North America. Previously, he led the company's West sales division. Milano brings more than 25 years experience and expertise in developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that drive sales and increase profits for high-tech organizations. Prior to Instart, he served as Vice President of Sales, Western Region, for CloudPassage; and in senior Sales positions for VMWare, Infoblox, Mercury Interactive, Brocade, and Storagenetworks. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University.
